QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Civil society platform CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) invites civil society organisations (CSOs) and other development stakeholders to a global webinar on the latest updates on the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) 4th Monitoring Round results, to be held Monday, 26 May 2025, 6AM Guatemala | 2PM Nairobi | 4:30PM New Delhi | 5PM Bishkek | 6PM Jakarta | 7PM Manila | 11PM Suva.

In line with CPDE’s advocacy around an enabling environment for civil society, this webinar aims to provide an opportunity for parties to the GPEDC to gain insight to the overall progress situation of CSO enabling environment around the world, to share knowledge, practices, and experiences, and to strengthen collaboration and action. It will also examine how the GPEDC monitoring framework can be leveraged to promote a multi-stakeholder approach, ensure accountability, and foster strong development partnerships.

The GPEDC monitoring framework is a process that provides detailed information on the implementation of development effectiveness commitments around the four Effective Development Cooperation (EDC) principles: transparency and accountability, inclusive partnerships, results focus, and democratic ownership of development priorities.

The event will be available in English, with interpretation to Spanish and French.
