On behalf of the Steering Committee, the CPDE Global Secretariat invites organisations interested in becoming CPDE’s new lead organisation/fiscal agent for future partnership/s with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) to submit an Expression of Interest together with the required documentation on or before 7 December.

Sida has been a long-time partner of our platform. Its support for our advocacy spans five project cycles since we transitioned from BetterAid and Open Forum until now. Its current CPDE support ends in December 2023.

The Agency has indicated that it is open to receiving a new proposal from CPDE submitted by a new lead organisation, pending the approval of the Sida CSO strategy. The Steering Committee and the Programme and Finance Committee have decided to start the process of selecting the said organisation and prepare the necessary mechanism for the possible continuation of our partnership. We have set up a Selection Task Force composed of four CC members and a representative of the Global Secretariat. They are tasked to receive and review applications and submit an endorsement to the Coordination Committee before the GA approves it.
