Dear CPDE members and colleagues from the CSO community,

We are thrilled to announce that we have re-opened the nominations for the Non-Executive Co-Chair (NECC) position!

We are on the lookout for committed individuals who would like to represent the CSO community in the GPEDC and are passionate about making a positive impact on the partnership. The NECC plays a vital role in fostering democratic ownership within the partnership, so we’re in search for someone who can bring their unique skills to the table! By ensuring the highest level of inclusivity and transparency in decision-making, the NECC helps to strengthen the unique quality of the global partnership, where non-executive players representing large constituencies bring a unique perspective.

We are inviting individuals who are passionate about development effectiveness and effective development cooperation; and leaders with demonstrable political and diplomatic skills, as well as a proven track record of involvement in CPDE/Open Forum/Better Aid or related CSO work over a period of time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to make a real difference! While this role is voluntary, rest assured that CPDE will support you every step of the way. The Non-Executive Co-Chair is at the highest possible level, on par with the government Co-Chairs. This senior representative will normally be at the level of an Executive Director, President, or Secretary-General of one of the non-executive entities represented on the Steering Committee. Constituencies and sectors are being encouraged to consult their members and endorse a member that has the capacity and interested in the position of a Non-Executive Co-Chair (NECC).

Please include a personal statement from the candidate, as well as a statement from the CPDE constituency or nominating organisation setting out the merits of the candidate for this senior role.
