Se les somete a procesos judiciales, vigilancia y difamaci\u00f3n, o se les retiran fondos. Estos ataques de las fuerzas estatales o aprobadas por el Estado contra los actores independientes del desarrollo, los derechos humanos y la democracia, tienen como objetivo limitar la participaci\u00f3n social y pol\u00edtica de la sociedad civil y suprimir las cr\u00edticas a los sistemas que favorecen a unos pocos pero descuidan a la mayor\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Para que la sociedad civil trabaje sin obst\u00e1culos, la comunidad internacional debe exigir a los gobiernos y a las empresas que se adhieran a los principios de la Cooperaci\u00f3n Eficaz al Desarrollo de apropiaci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica de las prioridades de desarrollo, y de transparencia y responsabilidad.<\/p>\n<p>La sociedad civil debe participar en el dise\u00f1o y la ejecuci\u00f3n de las pol\u00edticas y los proyectos de desarrollo. Es tarea de la sociedad civil mantenerse unida contra las restricciones, mediante la concienciaci\u00f3n, la acci\u00f3n legal y la movilizaci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico en general.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestra plataforma monitorea si los gobiernos cumplen con su obligaci\u00f3n de crear un entorno propicio para la sociedad civil.
