Thirteen civil society organisations (CSOs) from around the world have worked together to draft the 6th edition of the Progressing National SDGs Implementation report, which will be launched on 23 February 2022 from 2:30PM to 4:15PM GMT (11:30AM ARG | 3:30PM FRA | 10:30PM PHL). The report* is an annual, independent review and analysis of how governments are implementing the 2030 Agenda, and CPDE has been supporting this initiative for the past years.

The study examines the VNR reports submitted to the United Nations HLPF every year, as well as a sample of related civil society reports. The review provides an assessment of progress on SDGs implementation, identifies best practices, and suggests improvements to VNR reports and processes.

The February 23 event will bring together representatives from civil society, the UN system, governments and youth to discuss key findings of the research, challenges and good practices around implementing the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  Stakeholders are invited to engage in roundtable discussions and share their experiences while preparing for and participating in Voluntary National Review (VNR) processes.

Registration for the event is available here.

*Interested parties may access the previous edition (2020-2021) of the report here. #
