In the face of a global pattern of attacks on democracy and repression of human rights, CPDE invites civil society organisations (CSOs) from around the world to submit proposals for country actions around the campaign against shrinking and closing civic space.

CPDE will grant USD 2,000 seed funding for 21 country actions around human rights and the campaign against shrinking and closing civic space.

The country actions must revolve around communications work following through on the Belgrade Call to Action, promoting human rights as core of people-centered development.

The actions must also showcase how maximizing the role of CSOs as vital, independent development actors is key to inclusive development partnerships and cooperation.
