The establishment of the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) was mandated in 2012 in the outcome document of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20), “The Future We Want” as the main United Nations platform on sustainable development.
As having the central role in the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the global level, CPDE engages with this HLPF process to provide feedback on the degree and quality of translating the SDGs into national realities through development cooperation.
